Blue Streak Lighting & Electric – Estimator/Inside Sales
Blue Streak is a Lighting & Electrical Service provider specializing in lighting maintenance, electrical repairs, and LED upgrades.
We are seeking a qualified individual with experience/ background in Estimating electrical repair projects, LED upgrades, and maintenance contracts. This position offers significant earning potential through commission and provides ample leads from our existing customer base and an outside sales team dedicated to generating new leads. Please understand this position requires verifiable experience in the field.
Key Qualifications:
Required:Â Electrical or lighting experience.
Strong computer skills essential. We currently use Google Docs, Sheets, GDrive, and a dispatch/scheduling system.
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Adaptable to changes within company procedures from time to time.
Good with lists, numbers, percentages, and simple Excel spreadsheets.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement:Â Act as the primary point of contact for customers, offering exceptional service and building lasting relationships.
Product Knowledge:Â Develop a deep understanding of our lighting and electrical product portfolio to effectively advise customers on suitable solutions.
Project Consultation:Â Assist customers with lighting and electrical project planning, offering expertise and recommendations.
Quoting and Pricing:Â Prepare accurate and competitive project quotes, addressing customer specifications.
Order Processing:Â Efficiently process orders, coordinating with other departments to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Sales Growth:Â Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the growth and profitability of the company.
Market Research:Â Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
Documentation:Â Maintain accurate and organized customer records, quotations, and sales data.
Duties Include:
Customer service.
Creating estimates for lighting and electrical repair projects.
Devloping a scope of work to pass along to the field technicians.
Responding to customer emails regarding pricing and scope of work.
Managing the sales workflows from introduction to quote approval.
The ideal candidate is a team player with a cheerful disposition and phone demeanor, and is highly organized, detail-oriented, and flexible. You have excellent time management and written/verbal communication skills, are self-motivated, and can work with minimal supervision. You are able to interact professionally with fellow employees, vendors, and clients.
